The Story of Ben

Ben Carter, who is dyslexic, left the European School Luxembourg aged 11. After a difficult transition to boarding school he went on to get good ‘A’ levels at Millfield School. He has successfully completed a degree in Illustration at Kingston University and has now completed a Masters Degree in Graphic Design. We are very grateful to Ben for all the artwork that appears in our booklet Dyslexia: Strategies for Success in Schools as well as for producing our first logo.

The new Dyspel logo – inspired by the original idea from Ben Carter – was designed by Juan Manuel Dominguez, an experienced photographer and graphic designer in Madrid (jmd1@arrakis.es)
